Researchers face a bad trade-off. Search engines bury the answer under dozens of links that take hours to read, while chatbots give fast answers that are hard to trust or verify. For students and professionals whose work depends on credible, citable sources, neither is good enough misinformation and unverifiable claims are a real risk.
What we built.
We built Sokrateque as a research workspace rather than a chat box a structured environment where every answer is synthesized from multiple real sources, cited inline, and checkable in a click. The speed of an AI assistant with the verifiability of primary sources.

Instead of a single chat reply, Sokrateque runs a structured research session. Ask a question and it returns a synthesized summary where every claim carries a numbered, inline citation and a Source Details panel shows the exact quote behind each one, so nothing has to be taken on trust.

Bring your documents and your Google Drive
Beyond the open web, Sokrateque answers from material the user owns. The Bookshelf stores and organises uploaded documents into folders, and a Google Drive integration pulls answers straight from files already in the cloud blending public sources with private context. Dedicated modes cover the real jobs: ask a question, get a report, test a hypothesis, analyze a document, or write.
